By accessing or using the SMJGolf Academy website at smjghyd.com.ng or booking any of our coaching services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who books lessons with us.
SMJGolf Academy reserves the right to update these terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for changes.
SMJGolf Academy provides golf coaching and instruction services including, but not limited to:
All lessons are conducted at our facility at 6 Ikoyi Club 1938 Road, Off Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, or at agreed alternative venues. Lesson availability is subject to coach availability, weather conditions, and facility access.
To book a lesson, you must create an account on our platform. By registering, you agree to:
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts for minors must be registered and managed by a parent or legal guardian. We use Clerk for secure authentication; by creating an account you also agree to Clerk's terms of service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.
All lesson bookings are subject to the following conditions:
Important: Booking a time slot does not guarantee the lesson until payment has been confirmed. Time slots are held for 24 hours pending payment confirmation.
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

To cancel a booking, please contact us at bookings@smjgolf.com or call 0706 534 3709. Cancellations made through the platform will be processed within 5 business days.
In the event that we cancel a lesson due to coach unavailability or facility issues, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
All clients and visitors to SMJGolf Academy are expected to:
SMJGolf Academy reserves the right to refuse service or remove any person who violates this code of conduct. No refund will be issued in such cases.
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law:
Golf is a physical activity that carries inherent risks. By participating in our lessons, you acknowledge these risks and agree that SMJGolf Academy is not liable for any injury arising from normal participation in golf activities.
Your safety is our priority. By booking with us, you confirm that:
SMJGolf Academy strongly recommends consulting a physician before beginning any new physical activity if you have existing health concerns.
All content on the SMJGolf Academy website — including text, images, logos, videos, graphics, and course materials — is the property of SMJGolf Academy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
